and is reverse engineeing it maybe...

i have that more then exotic apple //e Dapple System a modified //e (quite
wild to look at inside..dials blinking lites...)...anyway...it was used (i
kid you not) to run electron micro-scopes back in the 80's ..the modified
//e only cost $15k vs the $50k the specialty computers used to do
same...thus dapple system niche

it uses an extra card slot..so if i don't get my proslot back i'll never get
my //e to work again with an electron microscope...thus the rub...need that
extra card slot to run the modified beast...it is loaded ..dapple stickers
on stuff like the eproms on the a.e. //e accelerator card...a couple imaging
cards (diff kinds) by red shift for manipulating graphics....modified
scsi...not sure what they did to the motherboard..but very whiz bang science
lab looking with odd wires ...a modified (i kid you not) game port adaptor
with pinouts and chips as interface between wires running about the
motherboard yeah and neah here and there quite the hack job

have manuals and the software they basically shipped me the lab less
electron microscope (dang)



i did see an electron microscope from that era supposedly work on ebay go
for i think it was $8k or so...nice to know you to with and apple //e some
mods and electron microscope and an massive intellect ..could make your own
bird flu virus

but yeah...when i fired the beast up everything came up as ready to and
ok....to go except for the where is the electron microscope query...

so it goes.....toys...jeez
