Hi Craig,

Good to hear, that everything works! Sometimes I am afraid, that I
loose the overview with the increasing amount of ports and
applications.

Well as I don't have a MSX I cannot check that one ;) but the Original
CPC and PcW port are both top performers

Another superb release. One question however... What is the "Symbos
Extensions" and what purpose do they serve?

Currently it's the old security stuff (password, "system locked"
etc.), which was already integrated in the first Beta versions (see
here and scroll a little bit down: http://www.symbos.de/shots.htm#marke3
) , but was removed in the 1.0 to keep as much memory free as
possible. Now we have it again (and Login/Password will now be stored
in the SYMBOS.INI). The current functionality can be reached by
pressing Alt+Ctrl+Del or via "Security..." in the start menu.

The "SymbOS extension" will be expanded in the future to support stuff
like:
- application/window switching with ALT+TAB
- more desktop icons and startmenu entries
- managing the small short cut icons in the right side of the taskbar
(currently there is only the "show desktop" symbol, but since the
beginning the Desktop Manager supported up to 8 icons there. No-one
used them up to now, so it's time to do something)
- and what ever...

Oh Fantastic. I had not noticed the "Security" option in the start
menu.. Password set and working.. although serving little use on a CPC
it is a great gimmick :)

Thanks again

Craig
