Hi everyone,

I curently only have an Amiga 500 with external floppy, lots of
potential, but no hard drive and no disks. On the other hand, I have
an Amiga emulation going really strong on a PC, to the point where I
forget I'm actually not using the real thing. Nevertheless, I would
like to give the A500 to my young daughter's, so that they can share
the Amiga experience with me. I have heard of some ingenious
individuals that have used LS120 superdrives to overcome the floppy
controller limitations and I have also heard of some schematics to
attach an amiga floppy to the old parallel port or USB. Can anyone
tell me how I might go about copying all of my ADF's back to disk.

There`s lots of different ways that you can go about this;
some are hardware solutions, some software solutions,
or a combination of both.

But your biggest problem is that you don`t have workbench 1.3
on an amiga disk for the A500.
Meaning that you`d either need to buy a catweasel card for the PC,
or find some-one that can send you an amiga workbench 1.3 disk.

Once you`ve got that disk, it`ll open up the A500 to a broad-spectrum
of both free and pay-for software to convert your ADFs back to real amiga disks.
