They sure do work just fine, only the manual updates don't work although
bypassing the check is very easy.

If someone is determined to take over your computer it is completely
irrelevant what OS/browser you use since they will find a way. *ix security
holes can just as easily be exploited by a determined cracker.

Works well enough for me. I simply don't like *ix, I like to play the latest
games and use the latest products without having to worry about availability
or compatibility.
