Different how? Did Hyperion finally pull their head out of Eyetech's
ass?

Actually, I don't see how the dongle presents much of a challenge. It
should be possible to monitor access to the bios with a system level
debugger in order to determine how to circumvent the "protection"
mechanism, and gut it out of OS4. Even if you have an A1, there's
plenty of reason do this - better performance, hardware reliability,
etc.
