I am not sure that I agree either with the premise or with the conclusion
of this syllogism. One advantage alone I have gleaned from this ever
more rancorous sorry-go-round: on reading the phrase "kill file" mentioned
by an honest contributor, I have learned how to configure my news-client
(NewsHound) to provide me with the software equivalent of ear-plugs.
Many thanks for this relief. May this information be of benefit to
others, especially the silent majority who have the good sense
not to be goaded into gratifying pathetically incontinent
attention-seeking.
