Not quite sure what's meant by IP address? Using Netsurf with the
Kinetic, 10.0.0.100 returns "cannot connect to host". (But in Routing
in !Boot the bit about 'Act as an IP router' is unticked.) Using the
Windows XP computer, Firefox displays nothing with its IP address of
10.0.0.13, but IE does state that the page is unobtainable. On
performing its offer to check, it reports that the internet connection
is OK. (This, performed while the router is connecting.)

The IP address of the router, not the computer. This will be the one
entered as your Gateway in the networking part of Configure.
