Over the past week or so, I've had a few comments via email /

All my files are always typed before upload and I have proved

myself, but some of the files I've not changed in ages are also
having no type applied at the point of download.
It sounds like the mimetype for .zip files isn't defined correctly
(or at all) on Demon's servers. Have they made a change recently?
If they allow you to put a .htaccess file on your website, upload
one to the top level directory of your site containing the
following:
AddType application/zip .zip
Check that you are able (and permitted) to do this first, though.
If not, contact them and point the problem out to them.
Or do the latter first.
I downloaded several zip files from RiscOS sites on Demon using VA-SARPC and Netsurf. All were correctly file typed, giving the correct icon on download. I'm on demon so weather that makes a difference, I don't know.
