I'm very new to the ARMini (it just arrived the afternoon), but if
I try to run SmartMenu it comes up with the weird error message
"WimpSWIVe cannot be quit right now, as some clients are still
using it". What am I doing wrong, please?
Place in Boot.Choices.Boot.PreDesk and reboot - avoids all the
trouble.
Fantastic machines aren't they - I couldn't afford the cost of the
ARMini but I did the next best thing - I bought a Beagleboard -xM
from Farnells, followed the excellent instructions on the ROOL site
and before I new it was presented with a RISC OS desktop. I didn't
want to compromise on the monitor resolution so purchased a 1920 x
1080, 30Hz monitor from RComp - another excellent purchase once I had
tweaked the backlight brightness and the contrast.
