I am still dumbfounded that no one - not even the owners - have replied.
Also have done detective work in similar situations I am even more
surprised that nobody has tried. Does nobody need a decent debug package
for high level languages? Anyway who is the owner?
As it's part of the Castle C package, I presume it's owned by Castle.
However, they probably just licence it from someone else so probably don't
have all the source code to it.
They do. DDT was an in-house Acorn product, so it was not licensed
from anyone, in contast to the C compiler, which is licensed, but as
far as I know, Castle have the source code to that as well.
However !DDT works here on the Iyonix so I presume source code does
exist somewhere, otherwise they wouldn't have been able to do the
32-bit conversion.
Precisely, and it is not only the 32-bit conversion, it also needs to
be adapted to specific OS versions.
