But that's entirely subjective and down to personal opinion. I use RISC

You're therefore not using your computer for a lot of the things many do -
like AV handling etc. Let alone browsing some sites.

I'm afraid your attitude is quite common to RISC OS users - if you can't
do something it's not needed. ;-)

Its true, I wasted years with that attitude. I was forever saying
"Well I don't need to see that video clip", "there was probably
nothing useful on that site using flash", "I'll try and buy it
elsewhere because I can't submit an order form due to javascript".

You know there are vast numbers of sites its not even worth trying
because they wont work on RISC OS. You know of the ones you do try,
you'll have to attempt to juggle 3 different browsers, two of which
are slow unstable piles of cack, which will leave you disappointed and
with sky high blood pressure.

Its like living in a box, and a shrinking one at that. Using a fully
featured browser is like stepping out in to the sunlight. You don't
have to worry if a site uses javascript or flash, it just works.
Video becomes an integral part of the experiance, such as on BBC
news website.

Having something else for the web actually makes me happier with
RISC OS. The machine may now only be on for a fraction of the time it
was before, but when I'm using it, I'm doing the things it does well,
and not wanting to kick it across the room out of frustration.
