Audio CD recorders simply do not recognise computer versions - I've

There was a levy imposed on the sale of CDs for audio recording to keep
the recording industry happy, which is why they were more expensive. Audio
CDs have something put on them at manufacture that indicates this and this
is seen and recognised by Audio CD recorders. Without this, which is not
on data CDs, they will not work, as you have observed.
