I've learned today that Argogroup is to be wound up as a solvent

This is sad news, if not surprising, because Argogroup started life as

Argonet which got many of us onto the internet in the first place.
They disposed of their hosting and ISP activities some time ago.

the other bit of sad news about it is that my shares which cost £2000
are only worth 90p. ;-((

But didn't buying shares in Argonet entitle you to lifetime free internet
access?

Have you had £1999.10 worth of free internet access?
