I'm having problems printing what I want on my Brother HL-631 Laser.
A 5cm by 8cm rectangle printed from !Draw is printed as follows...
Resolution for all is Normal (300dpi)
Halftone (fine) quality gives a 4.2cm by 8cm rectangle
Halftone quality gives a 4cm by 8cm rectangle
Diffused quality gives a 4.6cm by 8cm rectangle
Never seen that before, and I've often used the RISC OS printing
system to produce precisely scaled output. What happens if you use the
various quality settings at other resolutions? Do any of the other
cannon PDFs work with the printer, so you could make a comparision.
Does using one of the HP laserjet PDFs improve matters ?
Try Laserjet II first and then maybe Laserjet III or 4 or maybe the
Brother PDF is based on one of these anyway in which case it might
not make any difference...
It seems to be fine now that I've redownloaded !Printers and the PDF again.
I think you're right tho, I believe it's just a renamed version of a
Laserjet.
Thanks for the help anyway,
Alan.
