What would people suggest are their three main priorities for RISC OS
development? Can we reach a consensus?
1) A Web browser (Netsurf is getting there)
With the work that peter Naulls has done with porting Firefox to RISC OS
would it be possible (feasable) to use the Gecko rendering engine it uses
and build a fully RISC OSified browser around it?
Would this be more work than rewriting Netsurf from scratch to accomodate
JS?
3) Better Printer support (especially for inkjets and Multi-functionThis seems to be done as well as it is going to be with Guten-Print
devices)
(thankyou Martin). It seems to print to Epsom multifunction devices.
4) Scanner support vastly improvedYes, this is an important point (especially with regard to MFs)
6) Better CD-ROM and DVD ROM supportAgreed.
10) Better built in firewall to OSWell, a more easily configurable one anyway.
Text file editing anyone?
11) Lots of other stuff........I still think RISC OS needs a radical new look to its window furniture, a
whole new look to it. It looks so old and clunky now.
