Well its either the floppies you are using being unreliable, or one of
the drives may be slightly out of alignment.
I am puzzled if this is the case why normally all discs can be read
with no problems, then after the error occurs no disc can be read until
the machine has been re-booted (or, as I discovered, an attempt has been
made to format a disc) when once again all discs can be read
