Photdesk destroyed my ADFS partition! HELP!!!

HELP HELP!!!

I have the following configuration:

SA Risc PC with Quantum 3GB harddrive RISCOS 4.39

This machine worked for years but today I needed the texture generation from
Photodesk to generate a 1000x1000 pixels texture.
While photodesk was running (and probably bussy on something) I switched
from 1024x768 16-bit resolution to 800x600 24-bit resolution.

Next thing ADFS gives me a failure telling me that my harddisk isn't
formatted!!!

WTF!!!!

I used to have Hard Disc Companion 2 floppy but after 10 years (or more)
this bloody floppy disc is unreadable!!! I inserted A Disc Rescue Floppy
from looksystems (which is fortunatly readable) but !fixmap, !DiscED and
!Repairdir can't do anything.

WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED HERE!!!!

I've lost YEARS of work including my Prophet accounting!!!!

The only backup I have is from 1999 when I had a scsi-CDwriter. I made this
backup prior to installing RISCOS 4.39 so all the files (including HDForm)
are from RISCOS 3.7.

Is there any way to recover this ADFS formatted disc (or at least some
files)? Perhaps in a linux machine orso?

This is urgent!!!

Are there ANY data recovering methods at all in RISCOS? Preferably those
that can be used in emergencies when all there is a PC and a Mac with
internet access to download some CD-images or zip-files?

To make matters WORSE the CD that came with the RISCOS 4.39 is unreadable as
well so I CAN'T restore at least my standard programs and !Boot from that
either.

First thing I wanna do right now is beating this pile of *** appart! I
hardly ever use the damn RPC and when I finally need it for 1 thing (appart
from Prophet which is the second only thing I ever do with it) it fails
misserably.

Any ideas to retrieve (at least the prophet datafiles) is VERY WELL
appreciated.

Thanks,

EPDM
