Hi,

Just been around to a mates who has been trying to get VARPC to work on
his
dual boot system. While just about everything is fine under Wine, he's
having a problem getting the mouse to behave and the mode to correctly
fire
up at 800x600.

The mouse is erratic to say the least and the monitor problem is just
annoying.

Is there anything that can be tried to fix these problems?

It is one hell of a product, I may even buy a copy for myself if these two
problems can be sorted out...

My money is on WINE being the problem.

What's he dual-booting? (I would assume Windows & some flavour of Linux).

The real question is why would he be masochistic enough to want to run V-RPC
under WINE? ;-)

If he/you/anyone fancies it, try it under ReactOS. If someone feels like
furnishing me a copy of V-RPC, I'll give it a go and report back ;-)

All the best
