I've come across a site (www.tafn.org.uk) which contains some mp3
audio files associated with a ventrilo voice server. However some of
the links save .m3u files as AudioWorks files, but in fact they are
URL files containing the URL of the actual mp3 file.
I've tried adding a mimemap entry to map .m3u to URL (b28) but this
doesn't make any difference. Is there a way to get these links to
download the mp3 files in one step?
The m3u is supposed to load into whatever media player is running on the
client, which then loads the mp3 stream. (It's a standard playlist format
on other platforms).
Have you tried playing around with DigitalCD's streaming function?
From the manual:"Start your favorite internet browser to look for internet readio lists
(known to PC users as .m3u or .pls files) ... Download some of these
lists and drop them onto one of the DigitalCD's playlist window.
DigitalCD will then insert in the playlist an entry for each stream
listed in the dropped files. Now all you have to start playing one of the
inserted entry in the usual manner."
