The first DVD I wrote to ( sucessfully ) was a DVD+RW.
The DVD's I failed to write to where DVD-RW.
I can't blank any of them and when I tried it has left the discs
unreadable.
Interesting! The only RW discs I've used have been DVD-RW, and they
write and blank here without any problem! Maybe it's a 'feature' of
the drive you have? Mine is the LiteOn SOHW-1673S
Jeremy.
Thanks for replying Jeremy B.
My drive appears to be a Sony DVD RW DW-Q30A as identified by CDVD
Burn, even though it came in a Lite On box. Castle supplied it and
claimed that it was slightly better than the normal Lite On drive.
I've also, last night, checked all cables and they are all in tight.
I'm lost for words. I'll try emailing Castle soon.
Thanks again guys.
