It would be unfair to dismiss what you say in just a few words - but this
seems to be at the centre of your argument. In it you appear to misunderstand
the sciences of physics, chemistry and biology to an extent that does them a
gross disservice. I'll accept that you only see a contradiction - but there is
none at all. I don't have the maths to convince you about the Physics but -
given the space & time (OK not here and now) I could show you the errors in
your understanding of chemistry and physics. Chance *does* produce the
universe and *must* produce an ordered universe that can be examined and
described. It's only when mythical beings get in on the act that an
understanding of the universe is strained as they appear to be under no
obligation to follow any set pattern. Miracles make a total mess of
understanding.

And your comments about the lottery are misplaced. OK I assume that it was
meant as a light dig but it is the science that you reject that would tell you
why going to the bookies is a bad idea.

There is no conflict between science and religion as long as neither seeks to
make pronouncements from a basis of ignorance. Trying to explain the workings
of the universe from a religious point of view is outside its sphere of
understanding. It won't make sense and, if you try, you end up making silly
comments like not getting order out of chance. Anyone with a computer in front
of them can easily show this to be false - and we might even get this
discussion back on topic! ;-)
