It won't print black text from Impression on my RISC PC, but when I
plug the printer into my laptop with the USB it prints out "Word"

documents as graphics, and it has stopped printing graphics.
Anyway, it proves that there is no fault with the black printhead
and the black ink.
Well, I don't really print from RISC OS these days, but I have this
too, and it seems upset - multiple power cycles before it will come
up without flashing amber. I've tried suggested resets, and I see
references to cleaning out the waste ink counter:
It can't be that in my case, since the colours all print, and so does
the black from a "word" text file.
Also, I have no flashing orange fault lights!

But no explicit instructions beyond this. It might be time for it
be recycled.
Thanks. But it such a good printer. I have it plugged into my RISC PC
on the parallel port, and when I need to print from the laptop, I just
plug in the USB lead.
