What does the grey lead (PWR_OK) do Dave? I thought it was the green lead
(PS_ON) which had to be shorted to earth to turn the power supply on?

Thas is the norm. But on this particular one it's grey to pin 14 on the
main Molex connector. I dunno if it's just this example or all of this
model - although it looks like it has the same connectors as the ATX one
in my PC. I'm not actually sure what it's a replacement for. It's called a
TFX.

Normally the grey lead is a 'prove' circuit to tell the PC everything is
ok.

I did this about a year ago, I probably made a slight mistake because around six months later the unit went bang.

I will try again in due course when I can spare the time/money.
