I have a Belkin Omniview KVM connected to a PC, RPC and Iyonix. Once

normally throughout.
Happens occasionally here too. You don't need to re-boot to
re-esatablish kb auto-repeat. I have the CtrlPanel KB config.
icon on the desktop and running this does the job. Don't know
about the Iyonix tho'.
Having recently replaced my SpaceCube with an HP Pavilion PC and my
RiscPC with an Iyonix I've had a prolonged battle to get them to share
the PS2 mouse. I've also had intermittent problems with keys suddenly
auto-repeating as though they were stuck down, but they weren't - the
keyboard is the brand new PS2 one that came with the PC.
Ah, well that's another issue altogether...
I've never managed to get any mice to work consistently on my KVM,
either on PC or RPC (with PS2Mouse) or Iyonix, using a variety of
mice, both ball and optical, corded and cordless. My solution is
simple - I have three mice on my desk. I still don't always grab the
right one...
Because my original posting has been snipped and I cannot remember
what I wrote in the snipped bit I'll risk repeating what I might have
said before! I now have my MyHopper KVM working ok with my new Iyonix
and my HP Pavilion PC. That's to say, the KVM successfully shares not
only my monitor and the HP's keyboard but ALSO the PS2 mouse. So I now
thankfully no longer have to watch which mouse I grab - it was SO
aggravating. The solution was the USB-to-PS2 converter to enable the
Iyonix to link to the KVM. I had three! The first didn't work, the
second didn't either but the third, apparently identical, did work,
because it's internal design or circuit board or whatever it's got had
been changed. My saviours were them lot wat have it in stock,(!) CJE
Micros. Maybe they can sort you out too.
