Happens occasionally here too. You don't need to re-boot to
re-esatablish kb auto-repeat. I have the CtrlPanel KB config.

Having recently replaced my SpaceCube with an HP Pavilion PC and my
RiscPC with an Iyonix I've had a prolonged battle to get them to share
the PS2 mouse. I've also had intermittent problems with keys suddenly
auto-repeating as though they were stuck down, but they weren't - the
keyboard is the brand new PS2 one that came with the PC.
Ah, well that's another issue altogether...
I've never managed to get any mice to work consistently on my KVM,
either on PC or RPC (with PS2Mouse) or Iyonix, using a variety of
mice, both ball and optical, corded and cordless. My solution is
simple - I have three mice on my desk. I still don't always grab the
right one...
