You've clearly no idea about the job if you think that the medical profession spends most of its active work time answering non-important calls.
And clearly missed the point that non-resident medical staff use their mobiles as the principle point of communication. So when you need that consultant vascular surgeon in a hurry, should I reply to you that he's 'on voicemail'??? But it's OK, he's in the hospital, I just can't talk to him?
Not to mention converting what was a semi-OT conversation on RFI into an attack on people whose jobs you clearly have absolutely no understanding of.
