I've been to the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival and seen
that piece 'played' and conducted.

I was of two minds about posting this as I'm attempting to keep the GM
firmly under control, however sometimes things have to be said when you
feel passionately about something.

You are deliberately trying to prize the GM out of his cage arn't you.

You may have been somewhere, but you have not seen it played or conducted.
To play or conduct, something must happen, it does not. You have
compromised your intellectual perceptions on this farce of nothing.

The following is my opinion, and as yours permits you to be conned by Cage
mine does not.

To write one piece of nothing, shame on him for being so unprincipled as
to attempt a con.
Shame on a number of intellectually blind, for allowing him to perpetrate
his con and get away with it.

Now shame on us all for the large numbers flocking to hear a single note
droning on an on and on... Oh yes it did change by one note recently, but
now it drones on and on and on... in that new note.

For F's sake people engage your brains, have some intellectual integrity.

I cannot tell you how much despair I feel when faced which such a blatant
two finger salute at music and art.
