Well group.
I feel a fool owning up to the reason for Easiwriter not printing my
document which was due, I now know, to the fact I had used the System
Font.

No, sorry, that cannot be correct. There is no way you can select the
System Font in EasiWriter. The closest you can get is a font called
System.Fixed, but that is an outline font representation of the System
Font and should print OK.

Only excuse I have is that I did not realise the system font looked
so good these days.

What exactly was the name of the font as shown in EasiWriter? Any font
EasiWriter displays on screen it should also be able to print.

Martin
Martin, I have had a further look at the printing problem and found
that the original letter now in Trinity when changed to System font
still printed though I am reasonably sure it was never typed in the
system font so I still do not know what happened there.
The other printing problem that led me to think it was the System font
is as follows.
I was using EasiWriter to compose a text and graphics document.
A graphic was produced in draw which had some text on it and the
graphic dropped into EW. The document was printed but the text on the
graphic did not print. The text when in EW cannot be selected nor
identified. Looking at the graphic original before dropping into EW
the text was shown as the System font and on changing some of the text
to Homerton and dropping into EW the changed text printed as required
the unchanged text still did not print.

So I still do not know why the original letter did not print.
