I have just uploaded a new build that includes decoding support for
several additional file formats. This may allow QuickTime movies to
be converted. But please note that I have done no testing of this
and the download is now 956 KB; only 10 KB more, but annoying to
have to download the whole thing again. Sorry about that; I should
have anticipated that MOV support would be wanted. Of course, let me
know if MOV conversions don't work.
ffmpeg -i ADFS::HardDisc4.$.jpegs.Taylor_Jul_08.P7260009/MOV -y -f
mpeg2video &.file
gives:
Input #0, mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2, from
'/ADFS::HardDisc4.$/jpegs/Taylor_Jul_08/P7260009.MOV':
Duration: 00:00:11.7, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 5064 kb/s
Stream #0.0(eng): Video: Photo - JPEG, 320x240, 30.00 fps(r)
Output #0, mpeg2video, to '&/file':
Stream #0.0(eng): Video: mpeg2video, yuv420p, 320x240, q=2-31, 200 kb/s,
30.00 fps(c)
Stream mapping:
Stream #0.0 -> #0.0
Unsupported codec (id=8) for input stream #0.0
of which I deduce the last line is the significant one.
If you wouldn't mind yet another download, I have added more format
readers (MP3 and MJPEG) and decoders (JPEG and MJPEG). The required
wimpslot has increased by 80 KB.
