Yes, and in XP for example, the downloaded file is then in the temporary
internet files folder (along with all the other cached stuff). If you find
such a file (generally the largest one or the most-recently accessed it'll
be named / typed according to its URL. But if you copy it to another
directory and renamed it eg to XYZ.SWF (ie a flash file) and doubleclcik it,
it works just like any other file.
