It ought to be in the installation instructions for Dict. In fact, the
better behaviour by Dict would have been for it to keep it inside its
own application directory.


The problem here is that, on Select and Adjust versions of the OS,
executables inside the top-level of !Boot.Library don't get included
on the Run$Path. This means that any skeleton !Boot installers
developed for other OS versions (4.02, 5.xx) to put utilities into the
Library will fail to work correctly on ROL's newer OSs.

Surely applications should /not/ be installing things inside relatively
obscure bits of the boot structure? It's a recipe for exactly the kind
of confusion found by Chris.

As I understand it, if you want a command line app to work, you should
keep it in a nice application directory, set up an alias in your !Boot
file and instruct the user to add your app to the "Look at" section of
their configuration utility.
