As I had success I then just copied all the jpegs to a single
directory called POLAND and then proceeded to burn them.
It still didnt work.
So I thought it may be the size of all the photos.
So I then deleted most of the jpegs so now had a smaller directory.
I then repeated the burning process.
It worked.
The result is three discs with a single folder on each disc.
I assumed it was due to the size.
However using the Tools and checking each made disc, the total
file size for all three is only 157mb.
Ive made progress, but had to make three discs ?
What other applications did you have on the icon bar at the time
you burned the ISO image to the CD? Some apps, especially (but
not solely) network or Internet apps can hog the CPU for just
long enough to empty the drive's buffer. If the drive isn't
BURN-proof (Buffer Under-RuN-proof), the CD will then be useless.
If your drive isn't BURN-proof, then you really should quit /all/
other apps before you start burning the CD, to maximise your
chances of success.
The more data you put onto a CD (regardless of its directory
structure), the greater the chance of falling foul of buffer
under-run. The symptoms appear to fit your case.
