TalkTalk Problem (was Re: FilecoreCk)

Basically the computer can't find the modem/router. It was suggested
that the only RISC OS browser able to initiate the setup was Firefox 1
(which I have) but it gave the error message 'Firefox can't establish a
connection to the server at 192.168.1.11'. Tried Netsurf, Fresco and
WebsterXL all with no success.

I suspect the Unipod is not correctly configured, but I'm waiting for
an answer from STD. After my attempts at configuring it I have a new
icon called Net with a little yellow triangle in the bottom right.
Clicking Menu shows 'File server' as its name, FS list and Logon are
the only items not greyed out. Logon opens a window with File Server
0.254 in the top slot, then Username and Password below. If these
refer to the TalkTalk username and password there are two problems.
It won't accept the @ in the username nor will it accept the number
of characters needed. Also if I change the 0.254 to 192.168.1.1 it
reports 'Bad Number'.

I can't think of anything else to try.
