Or right... that last FF tells the printer that the 'current' page is
complete and therefore printable (as I said before). Without that last bit
of info the printer will wait and wait until it's sure there's no more data
coming down the line.
Maybe, but this thread is not about plain text printing, so this is
not relevant. In particular, Bryn's response was to a message about
printing from MPro 5, which does graphics printing (as practically all
other RISC OS applications apart from text editors do).
