I'll say again: No, I'm not claiming the patch is "strictly perfectly
legal and legitimate" but that doesn't mean that it is the cause of the
problem, any more than, if I crashed my car into another, the fact of
the other being unlicensed and uninsured would mean that the accident
was the fault of the other driver.
