Yes, but for the (seemingly) 1000th time from the *user's* POV all that
matters is that it *is possible* to go back a step withjout having to quit
the image and reload again manually! Why on earth can't this be seen to be
the case. The original suggestion made was that CFSI was like Paint in
that there is no way back from an action - it ain't so but some people seem
hell-bound on suggesting it is.

No. You seem hell-bound on not listening to what everyone is telling you. I
spelled it out, Paul spelled it out and everyone else has had a go. For the
final time, here I go:

1) set up lots of processing options in CFSI
2) drag image to CFSI
3) you kind of like the result but it's not exactly what you were after
4) tweak lots of options the way you think you need to
5) click "reprocess"
6) you don't like this result better so would like to get back to (3)

How do I "undo" back to my previous set of options? I can't - unless I can
remember everything I tweaked. Reprocess has nothing to do with it.

Sigh.

To get back on topic, I personally think undo in Paint would be of great
value; I've lost count of the number of times I've flood-filled the wrong
region. I'm now in the habit of saving every few actions in Paint (which
comes in handy remarkably often), but undo would be much better.

Given that this is probably the primary tool on the platform for designing
icon sprites (it's free and everyone has a copy) I don't think arguing
against improving Paint by saying some commercial package like Photodesk is
better helps anyone.
