Not quite true: given that apps generally use grey and cream,
there's nothing to stop you writing a small module with the
help of WimpSWIve and changing the colours of all windows to
whatever you want by trapping calls to Wimp_CreateWindow.
I use a pinkish red in place of yellow to make the 'live' window
more conspicuous. It also make the pointer red with a white edge
for the same reason. This is done by running a small palette
file during boot to alter the 'desktop colours'. I've used this
since Arthur on A310 and all RISC OS versions up to Adjust.
