Boosting !Playsound

When launching !Playsound 21Feb2001 on my Iyonix (to listen to Audio
CD's), I get an error message which is to do with the !AMplayer module
not being compatible.
Somehow this doesn't seem to matter because clicking Continue does
exactly what it says in the box.
However, just try to Quit from the icon bar and Err 486 SWI(ngs) into
action and stubborn refusal is the order of the day.
I do use !AMplayer 19dec2002 faultlessly (to listen to MP3's)
It would be helpful to me to have !Playsound install on the iconbar
from boot-up but putting it in the !Boot.startup causes the
inevitable!
I wonder if I have the most up-to-date version or whether I could
insert something from within !AMplayer into !Playsound (without
causing the authors annoyance?

Chris. Using British Iyonix and RISCOS!
Who needs to know that hiding behind a bush doesn't work if you're
