Moving Ascii text from Windows to RISCOS

I frequently extract Ascii text from windows - but when I do this there are
small discrepances in the fonts which cause errors. In particular the
apostrophe often converts to another character or disappears. I cannot
change the windows output (it comes from elewhere) but how can I persuade
RISCOS to match the font? Is there a conversion utility either for the text
or for the Font file?
The method of extraction may be important - my usual technique is to create
a pdf document in windows and then use !Riscript to convert from pdf to
drawfile format. The drawfile is then loaded into Ovation Pro.
If I need to edit the text I usually extract it from the !Drawfile and then
reload into Ovation Pro.
