As I remember it, all that is necessary is to ensure that the necessary

It was a clean install using the installer utility, so Publisher should
have put things where it needs them (!CCShared is inside !System, for
certain).
Ah, bells ringing about too much memory. Would a large ramdisc do the
I believe there is a definitive source of info on this, maybe it came from
Martin Wuerthner, I can't remember.
On the other hand could it be that Publisher is complaining about the
enormous amount of memory available? ISTR that this has been a problem
with Artworks in the past. Did it work happily before the OS change with
the same amount of memory? Have you tried loading up as many apps as ypu
can to bring the memory down to something much smaller - perhaps loading a
few large images would do it then running Publisher?
trick? At least it gives me another avenue to explore, thanks. I
wonder how !Reporter helps Pub get round this problem (if that's what's
up).
I've had the memory in for a while but not used Publisher much lately,
so can't be sure whether it was working on the RPC or using the A5000
for its last outing. Sorry to be so vague - we were using a PC until a
couple of months ago for (rare) letters etc, and I've been
concentrating on getting used to Adjust and setting up broadband.
I've seen reference to a newer ImpluseII module (0.20 rather than
0.18). Do you have that, and if so might it make a difference?
Thanks for your suggestions.
