I have installed Adjust 1i2, and done a fresh install of Publisher
(purchased in 1997/8). From other threads here, I believe it should
work OK, but it fails to load unless I have run !Reporter first.

The hardware is StrongARM, 256 RAM + 2 VRAM, ADFS boot drive and CD on
the m/b IDE, Cumana SCSI2 with a Syquest 270MB (internal). There's
little else running in memory - a few MB in use.
Any suggestions? I'll try a shift-boot tonight, but am loathe to start
stripping down to remove memory etc.
I am running Select 4.39, not got round to pautting the Sdjust ROMS in yet.
Publisher runs fine and always has done as I upped the OS version numbers.
I've never re-installed it since the last Publisher upgrade (4.11 in my
case) that I got back in 1996.
As I remember it, all that is necessary is to ensure that the necessary
Publisher files are in the right places. From hazy memory this means that
CMYKPal is in !System. I'm not sure about !CCShared but I stuck it here
too and everything kept working every time I upgraded!
I believe there is a definitive source of info on this, maybe it came from
Martin Wuerthner, I can't remember.
On the other hand could it be that Publisher is complaining about the
enormous amount of memory available? ISTR that this has been a problem
with Artworks in the past. Did it work happily before the OS change with
the same amount of memory? Have you tried loading up as many apps as ypu
can to bring the memory down to something much smaller - perhaps loading a
few large images would do it then running Publisher?
Cheers
Alan
