Having suffered the same problem and some hours of frustration having done
what you describe I eventually got the thing working by the following
means:-
1)I set up a directory called FF in the root directory, ie the first one
that comes up.
2)Having opened the directory I put Firefox and UnixHome in side by side.
3)I then shut down the computer and went for a cup of tea.
4)On return I opened the directory, double clicked on Unixhome and then
on Firefox.
5)Lots of whirring for a while then everything worked.
Was it worth it? Yes if only for the satisfaction of getting it to work.
