Epson RX560 All-in-One from 4D

4D have a limited stock of the Epson RX560 All-in-One
printer/scanner/copier. This multi-purpose printer has a scan resolution of
1200 x 2400 dpi for clear, sharp enlargements and pictures, whether in
colour or black and white. It has a built in card reader and can print
direct straight from the memory card, as well as pictbridge, USB direct
print digital cameras, USB flash memory devices and even Bluetooth from
mobile (Bluetooth adapter required). You can preview 6 colour photographs on
the Epson printer with its 2.5~T LCD monitor. Quality prints with a
resolution of 1440 x 5760 dpi produce detailed and even borderless pictures
on up to A4 size paper. It prints and copies 30 pages per minute.

Gutenprint printing is slower than printing with an ordinary PDF but has
very good photo printing qualities. A StrongARM RiscPC is the minimum we
would recommend to use Gutenprint. Scanning is currently only supported on
the Iyonix or Castle USB podule.

Printing utilises Gutenprint, by Martin Wurthner (copy supplied with the
printer, if requested), and scanning uses Ian Hamilton~Qs !MFPxEpson
software on the Iyonix. Copying does not require any software, and is
controlled from the printer~Qs front panel.

The printer costs 185GBP delivery is 10 GBP.

Unfortunately by the time a Gutenprint driver is available for any
particular printer it may have been superseded by the manufacturer, this is
the case with the RX560. Fortunately we have been able to obtain a small
quantity, orders will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
