Create city maps that look perfect on screen and on paper. Standard
City Icons come in a variety of sizes and resolutions, making city
plans perfectly legible on any media from PDA screens to poster-size
prints. The smallest size is 16x16, but the largest-resolution
versions are in 1200x1200 pixels. Objects of city infrastructure are
depicted in isometric projection, allowing for perfectly legible,
three-dimensional look without using 3D programming or acceleration.
Standard City Icons help designers, architects and students create
perfectly looking and clearly legible plans of city blocks or maps of
entire cities. Making a great city map is as easy as assembling a
puzzle. No need for dedicated software or steep learning curve; just
clip the icons one to another to assemble the entire map!
Standard City Icons are designed to look great no matter what media is
used to display the plan. PDA and computer users will appreciate sizes
of 16x16, 24x24 and 32x32 pixels, while 256x256 icons will not look
out of place on a plasma panel. Printing a poster-size plan of a new
block or the entire city is easily possible by using the high-
resolution 1200x1200 pixel variants. Need your icons larger or in a
different size? Vector sources in Autodesk 3ds Max format are
available at an additional charge for even greater scalability.
The collection depicts common objects of city infrastructure such as
City Center and Suburbs, Crossroad and roads in different
orientations, Churches and Hospitals, Detached Houses and Schools,
Cafes and Restaurants, Warehouses, Bridges and Hotels. The pack
contains over 45 unique icons, all crafted to perfection by
professional artists.
Standard City Icons employ isometric projection for a true three-
dimensional look without using 3D-acceleration. The set supplies icons
in a variety of sizes, colors and resolutions. Each image comes in 256
colors and True Color. All icons are available in ICO, PNG, GIF, and
BMP formats.
