ANN: WordPipe 5.0 released

WordPipe is a mass search and replace utility for Microsoft Word,
automatically
changing hundreds or thousands of documents in one easy step.
WordPipe allows an organization to make multiple changes to thousands
of documents at the same time. It saves hours of manual labor whenever
there is a change to the organization's phone number, address, website
or CEO. It's also very handy for maintaining hyperlinks when documents
are migrated to a new server with a different name.
New features include
* An option to display alerts from Microsoft Word - this has the by-product
of
allowing mail merge data sources to be opened, rather than removed.
* An option to search/replace the Document Template.
* Can display the clipboard contents - very useful when using '^c' to
replace search text with the current clipboard contents.
* 'Whole word only' option is now shown disabled when the search string
consists of more than one word.
* Detects multiple copies of WordPipe running - and warns against it, as it
can lead to document corruption.
* Warns if no rows are selected when options are clicked on.
Replacements can be performed in the body, headers and footers, in
hyperlinks and field codes, in text boxes and shapes, and in the
document properties such as Title, Subject, Author and Company. It is
the most comprehensive search and replace tool available, with handling
for password-protected documents and Unicode finding and replacing for
foreign languages. It also has a Find-Only mode.
WordPipe is fully compatible with Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows
ME, Windows NT 4.x, Windows 2000 and Windows XP and Windows 2003.
