Only if you want only the bounding box of the face, and even then
you'll still have to threshold the profile to find out where the face
starts and stops in the profile.

I'm not sure why you suggested using this inferior method or why
you're asking for guidance and then not taking it, such as:
not thresholding the entire image,
not posting your image so we can look at it,
not searching the file exchange,
not searching the newsgroup for the blobMeasurements code I posted
many times,
not answering why it has to be the radon transform method instead of
any other method.
Any particular reason?
