Hi all,
I developed a stand-alone application on WIN XP. The exe is working
perfectly on XP systems (with MCRInstaller.exe). Now I tried to run this
stand-alone on a McBook Pro. I installed this MATLAB_Component_Runtime.dmg
with no problems. But the stand-alone matlab file (.exe) is not running.
Now my questions:

- how can I set the path for the envionment variable?
- is it possible to use the stand alone .exe file on a mac?

No. Executables created by MATLAB Compiler are platform-specific. In order
to create an executable that will run on a Mac, you will need to compile it
on a Mac.
