running .wav files accoroding to serial input

Hi,

In my application i need to read data from serial port and accordingly have to run the sound files. (.wav format).

The point where i am getting stuck is, while i am running the wave file for particular input at serial input, if there is change at serial port input then, the running of sound should get aborted and the wave file corresponding to the present serial input should starts running.

How do i do it ???
Any ideas ??
