density contours

Hi, I'm pretty new to matlab and have only used really basic
aspects so far (mostly just graphing). What I want to do
now is draw some density contours based on how many points
are plotted in an area of a graph. I've been looking
through the tutorials, but what I mainly saw was about
contours around peaks of 3D functions. I'm not sure how to
translate that into what I want.
I've plotted all the points - I just need to know how to
draw the contour lines around the dense areas. I realize
this is probably really simple, and I'd be fine if someone
could just direct me to the appropriate area of a tutorial
or something. What I've found just hasn't helped... (Could
be because I'm blind. :( But I also don't easily understand
some of the sections since I'm not quite used to matlab
lingo, so I might be looking over something...or something. :S)
I would be grateful to anyone who can tell me how to do this
or point me toward appropriate help.
Thanks!
.
