Re: xPCtarget genMakefileAndBuild error

It appears that the standard version of Visual Studio 6.0
is missing a component. We do all of our testing with
the professional version which does not have the problem.
This version of the compiler is quite old now. There are
several newer versions.

You will have good luck if you download the free Visual C++
2005 Express Edition from Microsoft. The link is:
http://www.microsoft.com/express/2005/
Page down to Visual C++ 2005. You will also need the
Windows Platform SDK. Follow the link on the web page.

We aren't quite ready for the 2008 version, use the 2005
version.

Give that a try.

Hi Gilles,

I am having the same problem. I was wondering if you
figured out a solution. I have made sure that my
compiler
path is correct (It is the as the path I am using in
2007a).
All my other settings are set the same as 2007a, but in
2007b I get the "genMakefileAndBuild at 1070" error. Why
won't my model build properly in 2007b when it works
fine in
2007a? I am using Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 for my
compiler.
Thanks!
Joris

At VMS 6 + R2007b I have the same error...

There should be a solution represented? I also have made sure that my compiler path is correct.
